Day 1Jerusalem

Arrival to Tel Aviv, Israeli passport control and security. Drive to Jerusalem – mass in the Holy Sepulchre Basilica. Transfer to a hotel in Bethlehem, check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2Jerusalem, Mount of Olives

After breakfast, trip to Jerusalem: The Mount of Olives (place of the Ascension, Our Father Church, Dominus Flevit Church), Garden of Gethsemane and Mary’s Tomb. Then a walk to Mount Zion: the Cenacle, the Church of the Dormition, King David’s tomb, a local protestant cemetery with the grave of Oscar Schindler. Lastly, the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3Bethlehem, Nativity Basilica, Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre

Breakfast, visit to the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, free time at a local Palestinian market, then mass at the Shepherds’ Fields Chapel.
Later, drive back to Jerusalem, the Stations of the Cross, finishing at the place of Calvary at the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre.
Return to the hotel, dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 4 Dead Sea, Jericho

After breakfast, visiting the Dead Sea, on the way a short visit to Jericho – the remnants of the oldest city in the world, the famous sycamore tree of Zacchaeus.
Later, drive to the south of Israel to Eilat, immigration and customs checks and drive to Petra in Jordan for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5Petra

Breakfast and a whole-day visit to Petra – the famous town built by the Nabataeans, one of the Wonders of the World, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Walk through Petra: Siq (the entry gorge), Treasury (pictured in one of the films with Indiana Jones), the Temple, the Petra Church with mosaics.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6Madaba, Mount Nebo, Macheront

After breakfast drive along the Desert Highway to Madaba – the former mosaic-producing town, visit to the Orthodox Church of St. George with the famous mosaic map of the Bible Lands. Drive to Mount Nebo, where Moses showed the Promised Land Canaan to the Israelites. Drive down to the Jordan Valley to the place of Jesus’ Baptism. Finally, Macheront – the fortress of Herod the Great on a hill above the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight stay in the vicinity of Ammam.

Day 7Gadara, Jerash

Breakfast and drive to Um Qais (Gadara) – the ancient Antioch. Later Jerash (the Temple of Zeus, hippodrome, the Roman Theatre). In the afternoon drive to Israel, dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Galilee.

Day 8Galilee, Tabgha, Capernaum

After breakfast, a whole day in Galilee – the region where Jesus spent most of his life and performed most of his miracles. Climb to Mount Tabor – the place of the Transfiguration. Visit to Tabgha: the Church of the Multiplication of loaves and fish, the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter. Short transfer to Capernaum and a cruise on the Sea of Galilee with lunch (St. Peter’s fish). In the afternoon a steep climb (by coach) to the Mount of Beatitudes.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9Assumption Basilica in Nazareth, Haifa, Cesarea

After breakfast and check-out, visit to the Assumption Basilica in Nazareth, holy mass. Later we head to the south; on the way a short stop in Haifa on Mount Carmel and for some pictures in the Bahai Gardens. Our journey will continue along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea – the remnants of the city of Pontius Pilate.
Dinner and overnight stay in Bethlehem.

Day 10

In the morning transfer to Tel Aviv airport, check-in and flight back home.
